"chee ko pek" and the little blue pill

I received an ecard from a friend recently describing a new hobby that she had taken up this year. She took up salsa lessons and had fun meeting interesting people at the practices. Then, one day, her instructor took the class to a dance club. Before entering the place, the instructor warned them to be on the lookout for the old chaps, a.k.a. "chee ko pek", who frequent the club not for exercise but to grope the ladies there. Her description of her encounter with the lecherous gentlemen was rather hilarious. I guess these timers must be looking for partners to test the efficacy of the little blue pills.

The little blue pills have been the bane of not a few of us who have been spammed by websites selling the stuff to chaps with erectile dysfunction. To get around the spam filters that would have sent spam with subject lines containing 'penis' directly to the trash bin, these websites have creatively resorted to using euphemisms: pen!s, willy, sausage , just to name a few. We just keep updating the spam filters to delete such mail. Very soon they will run out of words and Webster will not be much help even if it contains a seemingly unlimited number of words. Perhaps someone will then organise a naming of parts competition! Or better still, bombard the vendors' website with so many hits that the site crash. That would be poetic justice for all the time spam victims waste clearing spam.
